Summary:

This workshop provides an interactive lecture and introduction of which challenges women face today in the workforce and explores these unique challenges from both gender perspectives. The workshop helps women understand the different levels of management responsibility. Participants will have the time to explore where they are in their careers and what kind of unique challenges they may face in the different phases of career development. The session will also examine the core competencies that are needed to move up the business ladder. Using the 5 by 7 model of competencies, we will set the path for better learning so that they understand the competencies that companies look for in various management and leadership positions. In relation to the competencies, we will examine the challenges related to gender that come with each of these competencies.
