There is one area in business where new managers and leaders struggle with and it is in the area of delegation. This has been proven repeatedly by many studies, although the reasons are debated. Some believe that it is because new managers what to prove that they can do the job or it is a protective mechanism to ensure the job is done right. Others believe it is related to trust and control.
